Here is the plugin originally from amx ported to amxx 0.20 RC6

Put the sounds.cfg file in the addons/amxmodx/configs directory.

I did this out of a request. I saw that karlos ported the adminmod plugin by Sanky but it has been having problems.

All credit goes to Sanky and Psychoguard.

(In case your wondering, Psychoguard made this for amx which was a port from adminmod's Sank Sounds. So it contains all the same functionality as that one.)

I have also included a sample sounds.cfg file.

Oops, well numerous people have been wanting it and no one had said anything.

That one was converted from a german one...this is the original.

Not sure if that makes a difference or not.

Is there any way to have multiple hello and goodbye sounds for connects an disconnects. That way instead of hearing the same sound over and over, it would have some variety.

how can u call this sank sounds or say its a port as its completly different and therefore called psychosounds

This one here is only a modified version of the one supermj mentioned
So u should remove sank sounds from the headline

Yes, you can add new sounds/combos to this plugin. On my server I have over 300 words and close to 400 sounds.

If you read the format you can create combos like this:
pd_sound "ha ha" "haha.wav"
pd_sound "ha ha" "haha2.wav"

That will make a random sound.

Yes, if you have rcon you can add sounds. amx_rcon works fine as well:
amx_rcon pd_sound "ha ha" "haha.wav"

However, It is much easier to change the sounds.cfg file manually. Also, you need to upload the new sounds to the server so it is a pain to add them in-game.

I also like the format of the cfg better than sank sounds. 1 line - 1 sound file. Much more clear to edit.

Psychoguard gives much credit to Sanky because it was built off of his.
There was never Sank Sounds for amx because Psychosounds worked flawlessly and was ported over correctly and made more efficient. On the amx website Psychoguard posted his plugin with (Sank Sounds) just as I did, so it should stay

It is a preference of what you want. I suggest people try both and decide which one they like.

Is there any way to do multiple join and exit sounds. I tried multiple lines, but it just uses the last one over and over. It just gets old hearing the same one.

hello, in the .sma file you say there is a cvar flag "E" that will partially match says. i find that it does not work. i have to type the exact word and only the exacy word for the sound to play. i like having the sounds come up randomly for new people. so when people say the word in a sentence the sound plays for instance i would like if i set a soud to play for the keyword "stupid" that if a player typed "this server is stupid and sucks" that the "stupid" sound plays as it is now if a player typed that sentence now no sound would play. if the player typed the word "stupid" alone the sound will play.

Can you PLEASE oh PLEASE fix it!!!
