Have everyone join a team and then do dota_bot_populate on the server console and it'll spawn functioning bots. If you do it too late into the game the bots don't do anything, it has to be around 30...

Anyone know how to enable cheats on the dedicated server? I mean the way the lobby does as sv_cheats doesn't actually allow commands like -lvlup, gold or -wtf to work.

I just gave the solution on the last page, you override the command "exit" and suddenly your server can't shut down.
It's written as a native plugin though.

Nevermind all that had to be done was override the "exit" console command to do nothing.

What do you mean, when I try to boot up an mvm map from something like 2fort it shuts my server down, this would require a function within the game to shut the server down even if valve's servers are...

If the spy thing works, try addcond with the spy disguise smoke and all that jazz, or force a disguise on a non-spy class, then instantly take it off.

Or you can just use NotePad++, open the mdl file, change its materials directories/model name and save it + its other files under the new name.

This is true, while naming items/editing descriptions would make for fun server mods and such, it's just not compatible with valve's new system. Kind of like custom hats, my christmas hat giveaway...

Yeah, just code a quick plugin with a hook to post_inventory_event (or whatever it is) that equips players with golden wrenches, and either add it to sudden death melee or use it separately.

It already does new colors oddly enough. If you say sm_fakeitem "Vintage Golden Wrench" it shows up as purple (or yellow if no vintage trades have occurred within that map).

When you rename an item, it takes the index of one the "customizable base items" located near the end of the item indexes in items_game.txt
Like a customized rocket launcher is index 205, not...
