I've done the same thing to my cfg (except I removed the male sounds). You have probably missed a bracket out somewhere or other. Miss one and it throws the rest of the formatting...

I had this problem on my servers, my solution was to edit the quake translations to make all double, triple kills etc display as multikills. Not a fix, more of a workaround
