It is possible yo add such functionality but I rather do it after I have rewritten the legacy menu code which was written by McFlurry. Trades would need a menu for simplicity

When you first run the plugin, it will automatically generate a configuration file that will be located in your server's directory. The exact location of the plugin's configuration...

I'm not sure what exactly you are trying to do. Are you trying to reset a player's points when they switch teams, but not when they use the !takeover command ?

By default, points reset is enabled at the end of each round. Changing the CVAR in left4dead2/cfg/sourcemod/l4d2_points_system.cfg to the following, will disable it.
