Not sure about the witch, but Actions is needed to prevent the bots from ignoring the tank when trying to help an incapacitated survivor, and winding up incapacitated themselves.

This plugin probably needs to be moved to Unapproved since it has so many issues and is not being maintained by anyone. It is shame though, so much potential here.

You could test setting one or more of the bots to have a preference of 0.

l4d2_improvedbots_weapon_preference_<bot_name> "0"

Yep, was coming to post the same thing. I was playing a campaign today and noticed none of the bots would pickup the tier3... then I realized they all already had their preferred weapon.

@kooper990 Not sure then. Maybe you have another plugin that allows/prevents bots to pickup tier3 that is interfering?

I have seen them pick up tier3 weapons.

Run these two commands on the server console to verify the values:
