I had the same thing going on like four L4D2 updates ago, suddenly SELinux didn't work anymore with srcds and I had to disable it myself in order to be able to start the server.
It's not that I care about SELinux since most of my boxes run without it, but still, I think it should be fixed to work with it in case people want to enable it.
