When I emit a sound it seems like players can hear the sound from "miles" away. I tried setting the volume lower, but that didn't seem to help all that much. Is there another way to change the radius in which the players will hear the sound being emitted?

Don't think so! If you want to emit for specific area create an ent and emit sound from ent!
You can hear it from ~250 units!

I actually found out my own problem.

I was using ATTN_NONE for the attenuation value and it made the radius extremely far. I switched to ATTN_NORM and everything is now working perfect
