how did you make it point to the website but not to html lol

my motd.txt (i know it's not for tf2):http://host01.getaseedbox.com/ade/motd/motd.html

and that's how it's done in the tutorial from what i skimmed through. notice they also put it all on a background that looks just like the board.. pls follow it, there's even an example to download, why not go from there?
as for the resolution, i would have suggested 640x480 to be the smallest but w/e; set your resolution in-game to 1024 and edit ur motd til everything fits with no scroll; you can also test your html easier in IE first, not Mozilla, if you have anything besides plain html; what works in IE will work in game too

All im asking is how to point my motd to load the html file on my server.
