A gamedata update for garry's mod. http://hg.alliedmods.net/releases/so...v/0ee36695fe21

Always check change logs for 1.4 branch here http://hg.alliedmods.net/releases/sourcemod-1.4/ so you know if you have to update or not.

The answer is still to stop guessing and install Accelerator so you get stacktraces.

  • SDKHooks and TF2Items both have working gamedata, and will autoupdate via SourceMod's gamedata updater.
  • FlaminSarge's Randomizer (and by extension, his GiveWeapon plugin) have updated gamedata, but you'll need to update it manually.
  • Most other 3rd party plugins / extensions using gamedata haven't had updates yet.
I have updated to different snapshots 1.4.4 3516 & 1.4.4 3517 even tried a snapshot of 1.5.0 of SM and when I restart the server and try a command it says "command unknown: sm_admin" in console as if the server does not load SM.

So i tried a re-install of SourceMod 1.4.3 and it still says the same thing - as if something is missing? Atleast it's not crashing i suppose but still..

I have a HL2DM Server. I don't use SDKHooks & MM:S is running perfectly - there are 3x 3rd party plugins using MM:S which are working (thankfully).

Any help would be much appreciated

The proper way to check if SourceMod is running is to run the sm version command.

If that works and sm_admin doesn't, make sure the adminmenu plugin is loaded.

How stable are the 1.4 releases so far?

I am going to try out 3518 soon. Hoping this will fix most problems.

Haven't had a problem one since installing the 144 snapshop. Enjoy!

I'm getting these odd stringtable crashes now, not sure if it's related to the update but it's not happening with vanilla. Definitely SM related. "Host_Error: Overflow error writing string table baseline GameRulesCreation"
