I cant get it to work with hl2mp it doesnt even attempt to load the plugin from what i can tell. All i get is invalid commands when i try to run a command from in game.

In my server.cfg i have

admin_user "STEAM_0:1:518281" 3
admin_user "STEAM_0:1:44887" 3

On the plugin.vdf i tried two different things, I tried what manip posted on page 4 of this thread, and this:

}

Both with the same results, nothing.

Can anyone help?

Edit: I dont know anything about coding for hl2, but that vdf file points to the dll correct? then shouldnt this be the code?

i'm renting a server from nfo and only have the access to the /cstrike directory in the hls folder...

can this be set into the /cstrike directory?

do i need to have nfo p ut this on for me?

I dont know for sure, but theoretically

If you change the forum.vdf to point to the dll's new location it would work. But i really dont know how the plugins work. I just know what i had to do to make mine work.

I really wish people would stop changing the VDF and then asking me why the plugin doesn't work.

Leave the VDF alone

There is only one reason why you might need to change it and that is if you don't have access to the server 'root' folder (only the mod folder) because you rent from some moron host.

The VDF path is in relation to the <Base>\Bin. If you place C:\MyServer\Cstrike\SAP.dll or some other stupid combination in there you are telling it to look in <Base>\Bin\C:\MyServer\Cstrike\Sap.dll, and the dll is added on for you, do NOT place '.dll' in the VDF.

Yes the admin_user requires spaces just like every other Half Life command since the begging of time.. Sorry if that is a little harsh but if you gave it even a little thought you should have figured that out.

Could you add a 4th level to contain the admin_user function or move the svexec function to level 2? Some admins need svexec, but I don't want them running around creating more admins.
