XP Whoring Map Reporter

This is simple. Maybe you run a SCXPM server, and just can't keep track of the XP Whoring maps... Then this is for you!

If any of these commands are toggled:

say xpwhore
say xpwhoring
say_team xpwhore
say_team xpwhoring

It will log who used the command and on what map the command was used on, so the admin can simply see what maps should be checked on, and possibly removed.
It will log to: /addons/amxmodx/logs/xpwhoremaps_log.txt

Tested and works.

Coming soon:
A notification to the client that reported the map!
A limit of one report per map!

Hehe, quite a sweet idea.

But it probably won't be very useful if you don't put in a little message telling people about the plugin.

(As in to the players ... while playing)

I never really do it with my plugins, but with some you really need it.

The admin can make a note themselfs using amx_scrollmsg or amx_imessage.

Nice idea. But maybe if many people report, the map will be either changed, or people get less XP? Or something like that.

You should add some kind of anti-spam thing (even if it's 1 per map, you dont want 50 entries from the same idiot), and it generates a random 5 digit number which the client must type in for the request to be processed, like shown below:

Well there are the stupids who decide that when there's more than 2 monsters in a room, it's a whoring map.

I don't think you'd want players practically deciding when the map is changed that easily and quickly, or that people get less experience points in that map.

This doesn't solve the problem of AWP whoring very efficiently, try another method (like kill calculations or something). Also you're ban evading.

Zenith77, this has nothing to do with CS and AWP whoring. It's for Sven Coop with some mod where you gain xp for killing monsters or something. At least pay attention when you are unapproving thing. Though I would think there is probably a better method than this one to finding the xp whoring maps, so in that sense I don't disagree with unapproval.

Maybe checking users kills and starting a vote, asking users if the map is an XP whoring map? Is that what you had in mind? I guess I could make that, just give me some time...

Err I apologize, t'was late at night. I have no clue how I got "AWP" from the description. Truly at a lost for words here, all I can do is apologize; I also blame Twilight Suzuka for distracting me.

However, I did read the description and I still stand by my original statement: it doesn't solve the problem very well. I personally don't feel comfortable with user based reports, and there are probably better ways to do this.

And if you ARE going to rely on user based reports, might as well just have people email you.
