Css Server Help

None of my friend can connect to my server yet i can connect to it with my external Ip and I can connect to it at my neighbors house.. ive checked the sv_lan ive checked sv_region and i still cant figure it out.. any ideas?

Where are you getting your external IP from?

So are you trying to create a dedicated server on your computer to play with friends?

And if thats not your problem or even what your trying to do then i dunno.

No... my router is configured correctly and so is my server.cfg... i have had numerous poeple connect to my server just some people on the east coast cant connect..

That's very strange. They should be able to connect at the very least.

In general, the further you are away from a server, the worse your ping. If someone is far enough away, it might be possible for them to not even be able to connect to it.

That's the best explanation I could come up with.
