I edited some of the .tpl files, well the ban_search.tpl and the ban_list.tpl.

What I did was copy the code from the search to the ban list so the search can be on the front page. It's there and looks nice, but doesn't work haha.

For some reason, it's not able to search the database. It's also not showing admins in the search or the servers. I just can't figure out what I've done wrong or haven't done at all. If someone can point me in the right direction, it would be much appreciated.

The .tpl's are only templates for the .php files. So, in order to get this idea to work you will have to merge ban_list.php and ban_search.php as well. After all the searching is done by ban_search.php, not by ban_search.tpl.

I was also looking into adding the place on the ban details for a place to add a link to a demo. I was able to get it to show up, just not able to add the demo heh. After looking at the code and stuff, thought to myself, pfft, this is going to be easy haha. Boy was I wrong.

I'll just wait till lantz adds it on if he does in a future update *hint* *hint*

I tried to merge the ban_list.php and the ban_search.php with no luck. I know nothing about php code. If someone would like to help a guy out and make me a ban_list.php file with the correct code added for the ban_search.php. I would really like to have this on the main page of amxbans.

ore else i cant use the new amxbans...


there muste be an alternative?? both my webhostes wont change magic_quotes_gpc so pls make a alternative for me and maby some other server owners

They are running amxbans 4.0

I'm using 4.3, isn't there a difference in the coding for these php files?

unfortunately it just isnt working at all
I have set all appropiate directories to 777 and magic_quotes is on.

My database is on the same server as my gameserver. But, the website is ona different host. Mysql is set to allow connections so nothing is being blocked.

amxbans web interface successfully contacted the database during the setup process.

ive tracked it down. It seems to be a problem with fancy layers. If they are enabled the page just doesn't load. if they are disabled it loads fine.

Any ideas?
