Just in case, make sure you're using the correct branches of MM:S and SM, as specified in the first post.

I can't seem to get it to work either, I have installed the latest build "1.5.0-hg3605.zip" and it still isn't working..

Ok just went and got a fresh version of : mmsource-1.9.0-hg789-linux.tar.gz
1. Deleted old files
2. Uploaded the new files
3. Placed my metamod.vdf @ /csgo/addons/
4. Set permissions to 777
5. Restarted my server.

Path to my install of CSGO bin folder:
/994491/csgo/csgo/addons/metamod/bin

Contents of my metamod.vdf file:
"Plugin"
{
"file" "../csgo/addons/metamod/bin/server"
}


Still not working, no clue what I'm doing wrong here. I even tried changing my .vdf file to the actual long path, didn't work.

where is the srcds file? what patch... then, what path do you have the metamod server.dll/so ?

I have windows, but my srcds.exe is in c:\csgo-ds\ and the server.dll is in c:\csgo-ds\csgo\addons\metamod\bin and my metamod.vdf looks like:

}

I don't know if linux is the same or not, never installed a linux server with metamod/sourcemod

Ah very strange, just noticed the path to the srcds file is "/994491/csgo"


But all the rest of the game files are @ /994491/csgo/csgo

Try running "plugin_load addons/metamod/bin/server"

Wow, after a full day of banging my head in a wall I login to my server dashboard and there it is a 1 click install for metamod and source mod. In less than 30 seconds it's done

Still no clue what I was doing wrong, but it's on there not the less.

Could you link me to the advertisements one? I assume it sends periodic messages to chat like add us to your favorites, checkout the website ect...?
