There is no SDK update yet, and even if MM:S itself works, the plugins that run on it also need to be recompiled.

It's also very unlikely that it will work.

Where's a good place to look for info on when they'll release the SDK for orange box?

I saw THIS THREAD on the net and wonder if it would be of any use to you at all? Will this enable the tools to be developed at all? Maps have been made already anyhow

Not really unfortunately ;) We actually already know most of what we need to have Orange Box compatibility. There are just two blocking issues:

1) Until Valve releases an SDK, our findings aren't necessarily guaranteed, and thus we can't mark anything as "stable."
2) A current minor mistake in the Orange Box API prevents us from having dual-binary support. If Valve doesn't fix it, users will have to download separate builds of Metamod:Source depending on whether they use Orange Box or not.

Damn. Thought it'd be a worth a go. What a pain. Really miss not having adverts and menu's for kicking players but hopefully it won't be too long

Is it not worth releasing a sort of beta for TF2 or will it likely be a waste of time due to it being invalidated by the forthcoming SDK?

We don't really know ;) we'll probably announce something a few days before Orange Box is final. Or earlier, if time permits.

I think saying "Source '07 compatibilty" instead of "Orange Box compatibility" would be better, because in the future other games will use Source '07 too, not only the games in the Orange Box.
