Btw.... another cool idea (add this after you got the main stuff working first)...

If a teammate puts stickies on you, the player who got stickies all over him, gets a menu that opens up saying...

Kamikaze Confirmation
Player Bob wants to use you as a kamikaze.
1. Confirm
2. Deny


If confirm... Bob gets a menu saying "Bill approves to be a kamikaze!"

If deny.... Bob gets a menu saying "Bill denied to become a kamikaze! You're crazy!"

lol

Just my idea.. with of course an exit button for all menus and an auto time out that closes menu after certain amount of time without a response.

Ok this is the basic plugin with kamikaze included. You need SDKHooks for it to work.

Cvars:
sm_sticky_enabled (Default: 1) - Enable stickies sticking to players
sm_sticky_kamikaze (Default: 0) - Allow demomen to stick players of their own team


I've tested and all of the features here work as expected, although sometimes the stickies are floating in midair right next to the player, as opposed to being stuck to them.

before I test this...quick question...

Does friendly fire have to be enabled for this? If yes, maybe make it so that Only STICKIES IF they are ON the person, then they will blow their own teammate up, but if on floor, then they wont.

I also see this as it could get annoying to players having people blow them up, so some type of confirmation like I posted, must be used.

EDIT: Your plugin failed to compile btw.

No no, the kamikaze doesn't hurt the players on the same team yet. I'll implement that later.

It failed to compile because it needs sdkhooks.inc, which the web compiler doesn't have. Here is the compiled smx file

where can i get sdkhooks.inc? does sourcemod come with it and where to put it?

Yeah except which one to use ? I'm not sure...

I have linux sourcemod 1.3.0 I believe... on TF2.

[SM] Plugin sticky.smx failed to load: Required extension "sdkhooks" file("sdkhooks.ext") not running.

I installed the extension sdkhooks13-ob-sm13.zip SDKHooks 1.3 (OB, SM 1.3.x) Featured so why dont it work?
