is anyone using a 1.1 snapshot and has successfully edited the admin menu ?

i will move on to a different version if we think that is the case.

dontwannaname thanks for the link. it is the same stuff i am reading. it is also the same wiki that doesn't have any information listed for more than half of the plugins that are installed with a default SM installation.

when i said a linux machine and plain text editor, i said it because it does not add formatting to a document like some microsoft editors do.

Use wordpad or a similar wordpad type program to get formtating. I use it on my 1.1 server fine and it works. Use the new files with the new location and its fine. What do you when you say plugins? You want to take commands from the base plugins and ad them to the menu?

The latest release is 2242. Everything seems ok there, client pref isnt needed.

another default plugin that came with the install, but hasn't worked.. either or i wasn't paying attention to it, one problem at a time.

i'll try the newer snapshot and see if the menu will change.

Ive come across a problem with admin who dont have the admin flag (sm_ban) being able to see the custom menu and even being able to see some of the sub menus.

Also the last option (scamble teams) being able to see it and also being able to excute it, got around this by adding a * "sm_bans" to stop them from excuting it. but they are still able to see it as a option to use.

Question's

1) How can I stop lower admin from seeing the custom menu option?
ie "[Ci] Commands" whole menu, see file attached.

2) How can I remove the voting options from the admin menu?

really loving the new stuff. keep up the great work.

What sourcemod version is required for using adminmenu_custom.txt. I'm running 1.01 and no custom menu's appear..

upgraded to latest snapshot (version does not show up anymore, taken out?), edited the custom file, killed the process, restarted the server, still nothing in the admin menu.

could this be related to me having root access instead of flags?
