intel core 2 duo e4500 @ 2.20 ghz, can it hold a 24 slot server?

I forgot about the thread I read on srcds.com earlier.

This person has the same CPU as yours and some people suggest that he 24 slots per core on that thing is bottlenecking it. So it could as well be the CPU.

that's 2 tf2 servers and 1 l4d server though :O
and doesn't those games both take up more resources than css? It might be my surf DM server because it is deathmatch it takes more cpu.

Doesn't matter how many servers there are. The guy suggested that 24 slots per core is an overkill. But you really don't know until you try it on linux.
