If the server is running you can see the version via HLSW, or you can type "status" in console as well.

PS if you dont know how to find out the version dont be a douche and tell me its the latest. There was a very good reason for asking that question as the latest announced update was the thing crashing the server.

Your server is not up to date. It should be version:

1765266

Edit: Also use the latest SM 1.5 not 1.6

With 1.6, my server also crashed with some sm plugin when someone tried to join a team. (I didn't bother pinpointing which plugin it was). Going back to 1.5 fixed this issue.

It still crashes... after the revert to 1.5 and updated tf2

Unload all plugins and see if it still crashes. If it doesn't then you will have to pinpoint which plugin causes the crash. What I do is unload plugins with same letter, so unload all plugins starting with A, then B and so on until your server no longer crashes.
