doubletrap: Nope. You're wrong. We focus on content, not trendy idiocy and unnecessary crap. If you want your site to be focused on having tiny, un-navigatable text in flamboyant colors on a backdrop that looks like a Fischer Price toy, fine. We have Planet Half-Life for that. Don't tell us that our site is a "POS". At least we don't start out with a flash video. Hello: the only site allowed to use flash is http://www.homestarrunner.com/

If someone gives us an example of a theme that is just as easy to see, use, and is just as efficient and simple in HTML, then we will review it and see if it would be advantageous to switching. But I see no reason to destroy something which is working as it should.

Yeah, I prefer white on black. That's how I code, it's nice and easy on my eyes. Not like reading into a light bulb. That's why I linked to maddox's site:
http://maddox.xmission.com/
Not only is maddox comedic cold, but his site is very easy to read. He uses large fonts in protest of crappy sites using bad themes. And gets millions of hits a month.

Well wait

Theme Depends on logo

once you have a logo selected you need a theme that looks good with this logo.

well.. I liked r0otd0wn's logo... I think one can create a matching theme that would be gentler on my eyes
