FakeClients are just spectators, they don't cost the processor a lot of time like bots.

Hi folks!
I have tried to install fakeclients from here, but i dont understand point 4: "Open cstrike/addons/metamod/metaplugins.ini and add this line to the file For Windows:
addons\metamod\bin\fakeclients_mm
I have looked in my metamod directory and there was no *.ini like this. fakeclients_mm.dll is the only file i´ve in it. Can U help me?

You have to create the ini file.

On some other notes, I've also noticed there's a 50/50 chance that player names come out as total garbage/garbled characters rather than what's set in the cfg file.

Also worth noting is that having a bunch of fake spectators now ruins voting with mani.

for mani u just have to scale down the vote-percentage in mani_server.cfg

Is there anyway we can make them join and leave to make it more life like? i've also noticed that they use a -1s time period in the server information window, if a internet user checks that window b4 joining (which most do) they will disconnect or not even bother connecting at all. is there anyway to make the fake clients have a join time other than -1s?

CSS shows a -1sec connection time for bots. I can't change that.

It should do that now. When the server starts it picks a random place in the list to start. Then, when a new fake client joins it gets the next name in the list and as they join/leave it cycles through the list.

Nah your misunderstanding what im talkin about what you say is true it does do that, but unless somebody joins, the server changes map, or you change the amount of fake clients there is the names in the spectators list stays the same.

So say if for the sake of arguement that nothing happens for 1 hour then the names wouldnt have changed for that 1 hour period, is there no way of making them auto leave/join whenever they want so it becomes more realistic?

If you get me?
