Ok,

What a wake up call this was..

I hold a share in the hosting company that was brutally attacked in one of the past pages.

How about we actually figure out who this guy is before we go and rant and rave about stuff that we can't prove to be correct?

Obviously, as you can see from the SteamID, and what people have said throughout this thread, this bum changes his name more than the average person changes his underwear.

I have no doubt in my mind that he/she may be an upset customer from the past, but I'm not going to go pointing fingers at anyone.

I just wish someone would have brought this issue to our attention before a client did. There is no need for this.

Apparently one of our clients had the same issue with this UAIO backdoor, and found this thread after it was posted! Rediculous!

Well it seems as if our little buddy doesn't realize that this hosting company is a legally registered corporation with copyright privacy laws. When I questioned this person about the use of our registered name, and advised him that he could be facing a serious civil penalty, he seemed to fear away.

I suggest that this SteamID be globally banned in the next version of AMXX.

I'm sorry if this post does not pertain to this thread, but I am not aware where this post might pertain to. I just hope that everyone takes the proper steps in handling this situation. I am sorry if I got a bit out of hand in this post, but these things really fire me up.

Take care, and good luck coders!

We are all depending on you!

In case you are referring to one of my previous posts : Eventhough there's no raving or ranting in it, it may, as you pointed out clearly, mislead people since we can't verify the connection between the link I posted and your company. I have editted my post and apologise for naming you in the context of this topic.

My fault..

Sorry again 8088.

Like I said, it caught me off guard.

-------------------------------------------------------------

Noone has any updates on this yet? Is the version of UAIO listed on alliedmods.net in-fact a good secured copy of UAIO? I've been telling people not to download it for now... mainly because I'm still not sure what's going on with the issue.

Until someone knows for sure if the version listed on this web site is secured, I'll keep telling people not to use it.

I'd appreciate it if someone who knows for a fact would let me know.

Thanks!

I can't believe someone had to write that. Why would you post in the thread complaining about something which you've not bothered to read?

Well, I am happy I came here.

Not only did I have the BAD file, I had it available for download at my site. OUCH.

File updated.

Thanks for catching this.
