It's working; steamgroup server listing works again.
It sounds like you're subscribed/following the official Left 4 Dead 2 hub. Try unfollowing it and the hundreds of chinese server spam should go away.

The issue isn't completely fixed. Some servers, despite the group id set properly, they do not show up in the main menu of the game. I've tested this even with a fresh install

After testing both a windows install and a linux install, currently windows servers show in the steamgroup listing and linux servers do not. That sucks for linux users hah.
