Ok so i was playing on my server todays and the bots were being a pain..

I opend console and did
sb_crouch 1
That told me the you cant do this its a cheat message.

so i thought what if i did...

sm_cvar sb_crouch 1
And it worked straight away.
Now i am worried that any client can do this..

I dont want to totaly dissable sm_cvar commands as they are a very heavy part of my dificulty balance.

i would really like for them to be un-useasble for clients though, But i want them to be ok when used in the CFG or if an admin needs to use them. "sm_slay
admins"
I think this is the only issue with SM_ and only sm_cvar will allow things like this to happen..

maybe you know diferent?

A little help would be apretiated.
Thank you.

sm_cvar only works for admins on your server. So you probably set yourself as an admin, and that's y you can use that. Don't worry clients can't use sm_cvar to change cvars on your server.
