[TF2]Unknown Command meta

Hi!
I installed meta mod source on my tf2 server (rented) but it doesn't work. Everything is EXACTLY in the right place like it is described here:

The vdf is there, the directories are there. I can't have done that much wrong until that point, I mean that seems so simple when you read it and I did it step by step but when i use the server console and type "meta version", the message "unknown command "meta" " appears. The server doesn't seem to know that there is meta mod installed.

Has anybody any ideas, I'm desperate right now...

EDIT: I removed all metamod files and tried out the TF2 Sourcemod Pack 1.2. This seemed even simpler - just extract the 2 folders inside the zip and you are ready to go. But I still receive the same error, although everything in this zip file seems to be correctly set...

What operating system are you using? tf/addons/metamod.vdf loads metamod, so make sure it has the right path to metamod.

You also restarted the server when you installed Metamod right? If you didn't restart the server. That is also the issue

I have the same problem except for CS:S... I did put it in the metamod.vdf in the correct place and restarted my server but I get the same problem. Any help?

I have exactly the same problem. My operating system is windows vista.

It works for me now! The problem was that when I was making the VDF file, I thought "Team Fortress" means Team Fortress Classic, but it really means Team Fortress 2.

MetaMod:Source is only for Source engine games.
