Server Problems

1) My server's IP Address is weird, It's not the same as my real IP Address.

2) My server lags like HELL.

3) My server will not go online.

I think all these problems are related... It probably all has to do with my IP Address

I have read the manual and did a search on these problems but i found nothing related to my subject.

Also, what is the difference between a Listen server and a Dedicated server, and how do i make a Listen server? Damn, i should just shut up, i ask too many questions.

1. your ip is the one from www.whatismyip.com just add your port to it like
192.36.36.12:27015

2. get better internet connection, ram, cpu

3. if you got a router forward your port number like in the example above it's 27015, make sure you have sv_lan 0

4. listen server is a server you make trough new games and the server will disconnect when you leave the server

a dedicated server is a server you start trough play games menu this server will be online when dedicated server is running and disconnect if you turn your pc off or turn dedicated server off
