Not able to scroll in the motd

Does anyone know why i can't scroll in the motd in cs 1.6? i've asked my friend to do it on the same motd and he said he was able to scroll.

Anyone know how to fix this?

That's fixed in CS Beta.

Its a bug and as xpaw says they fixed it. Download the beta update in steam and you won't have the problem anymore.

And in case you won't update to beta remove this line:

How do i install the beta in steam? searched for it on google but nothing, found only Beta participation in > steam > settings. I did enable it but did not fix the problem. :/

I don't know where to find it. I am not using the new beta. I just saw Alfred from Valve writing that you could update to beta to get the new updates.

He stated that there was an update to the server. I don't recall him saying anything about a client beta update available.

There is client beta, that's how it works on Linux/OSX in first place. Steam -> CS/HL -> Properties -> Betas. I believe you first need to opt-in to Steam beta.
