Hello,
I was wondering if anyone would be up to create this simple plugin that would be very useful for server administrators with certain flags:

Some hacks have the ability of taking the steamID of a player or a bunch of steamIDs from a certain steam group (like "putclanamehere administrator team") and compare them with the in-server players, if a steamID is found a warning will be issued to them like: warning admin is ingame!

This hack feature gives us no chances to ban certain clever players that use hacks non-stop when admins are not online and stop using them or abusing them when admins come online (even if with undercover name).

I was thinking that a plugin that would hide or put a fake steamID as status output for certain players would probably save us from that. I think status handled serverside and not clientside so it should be possible with a simple hook...

I haven't got the time to do it now but maybe somebody else is up for that.

i understand, but where we are not talking about sourcemod anymore right?
detouring is a lower lever than what sm allows.

If it isn't too hard i will have a look into it...
spoofing bot steamids isn't what i am looking for, it can cause troubles with steam blacklist and it's against the TOS.

in the case no further explainations can be given on this forum, are you up for a chat on steam?
