|HLDS|lag spikes 10-12 people

Hi, I need help . When i got 10-12 people playing on my server , their ping is going up to 800 ,after 10 sec their ping is going back to normal .

server spec:

windows vista hp sp2 pentium(R) dual core 2.00GHz
3gb of ram

Upload speed: 512kb

Update comp & get better upload speed.
Both is the problem.

what do u mean by update comp? , like buying a new one?

how do i get better upload speed? do i need to download something like a program?

Yes, buy a newer one.

No program can do that. You have to contact your ISP (Internet Service Provider) to get higher speed.

Use that and fix your rates. You can see the max clients you can run in your server.

I'd say his specs are good enough.

But not the upload speed.

Wafumen u dont need a new PC, i host a cs server 12/12 in a INtel Celeron 2.4GHZ with 768 mb ram and it goes perfect!, just try to get a better Upload!, i have like 3mb upload and 10mb download...
