I can't seem to get admin to work in the server.

Meta Mod and Source Mod both check out fine.

Admin is set in simple admin as the instructions state, but when I try to access the admin commands it says I don't have access to that command.

I can access it through RCON in HLSW.

I know I'm being a moron but what am I missing, or is there something special I need to set up that I missed.

If this is posted elsewhere I am sorry but I couldn't find it!

Please post the relevant portion of your admin file.

In the admins_simple.ini file I have access set up like this

"STEAM_0:0:54757" "z" //Scarecrow

It tells me I don't have access to the command.

Which command did you try (so I can try it locally)?

sm_map
sm_who

Both return with [sm] you don't have acces to that command.

Thanks for your quick response, but I think I figured it out finally.

"STEAM_0:0:54757" "z" //Scarecrow
was how I originally had it set up and I had no access.

I removed the end portion to read:

//Scarecrow
"STEAM_0:0:54757" "z"

and now it is working fine, I knew it had to be something simple I was missing.

Can you make sure admin-flatfile.smx is loaded by doing "sm plugins list"?

I'm having the same problem. My admins_simple.ini:

"!STEAM_0:0:7407112" "$z"

The ! and $ were in the sample line. Without those, the server doesn't recognize the sm commands. With them, it says I don't have access to the commands.

Metamod is properly installed as is sourcemod.

GrossKopf: You do not have the language translation files installed. There should be no "!" mark in your admin line; that's for IP addresses only.

Make sure your .smx files are the latest and make sure you have the latest .txt files in the translations folder (they were renamed from .cfg in a recent revision, but that shouldn't have affected anyone).
