im having an issue with admins changing maps to maps that are not on my download url.
How can i make it so when they open the change map in there admin panel it only shows maps that are in the mapcycle.txt and not show ALL the maps on the server ?

You could delete the maps you don't want people to use maybe.

look into your configs/maplists.cfg and setup a txt file with maps you want in the sm_map menu.. but this will not stop your 'admins' from using the command sm_map or sm_rcon map (depending on your admin privileges)

Your best move is to remove map change access from everyone, typical admins don't know how to keep people happy, they just want to keep themselves happy.

Well who is the server really for.. whats your concern with who is happy, instead focus on OP..

Hey hamilton, if his admins change the maps to maps he doesn't have on his fastdl, then they apparently don't know what they're doing or don't listen or both, so a good solution is to remove their access to it. My answer was no different than 11530's answer, just coming from the complete opposite end. Why are you on my case?

heres what worked for me, it was pretty simple after being pointed in the right direction:


Went to addons/sourcemod/configs/


opened and read the file maplist.cfg and found out this info:

"file" "addons/sourcemod/configs/adminmenu_maplist.ini"
}



so i didnt have a file that was called "adminmenu_maplist.ini" so i created one and added my maps that ARE on my fast dl url inside.

went into game to test and now all that shows on the admin change maps menu are those maps.
