Yes. Usually the difference is negligible, though.

He means most plugins will use very low CPU time compared to what most setups give you nowadays.

ok so what ur sayign is it will use more cpu but it wont really show??? so i coudl have about 50 plugins on my server and it wont really make a difference if they were on it or off it right??

It depends on what they are. If there's all things like WC3, SHM and CSDM, then yeah, you will notice a difference. If you're using a lot of small plugins that don't really do anything or only act when a command is used, the only thing you'll notice is a very slightly increased memory overhead.

ok so what about zombie mod??? and amx supoer and like spawn creator and also live music these are things that would use more cpu and could it cause pings to increase?? sry for all the questions this will bhe the last one

AMX Super is pretty much event-driven, so it should not be heavy, but ZM may be a little. And no, pings will not increase, cause it's very unlikely your server will experience any FPS drop (if it did, it probably wouldn't make a difference). What may cause problems is if your host sets very thight load limits to your servers. But that is not a very good practice, but I doubt this will happen to you.

well this is weried then because that is the only server that pings go up in on my box i host zombie witch u know gungame and also begginers cs now only server pings go up in is zombie um i mean i can say i have about 30 plugins runnign on it the box is also running linux... so is there anyway i caan lower pings down i mean they go up but server doesent lag at all or anythng got any suggestions???

If the server doesn't lag at all then your fine. Ping is just a symbolic number, what matters is how the gameplay actually feels. Try testing on a good connection, then try adjusting the client rates first. If pings are still high, try lowering the server rates a bit.
