i am currently using the mapchooser plug in that is included with SM.

i have the config set up correctly and the end of map vote only appears half of the time, and when we successfully vote for a map it does not change the map to the one we voted for. any suggestions or advice as to what i might be missing here?

could it be something to do with the competitive classic game type? perhaps the server does not know when to initiate the map vote??

If you are using max rounds (as opposed to a map time limit), mapchooser will initiate 2 rounds before the last round. In Competitive or Demolition modes, it's possible for a team to clinch the match far before that happens - i.e., in a 20-round match, if a team wins 11-6, the map vote will never happen because the game never reached the 18th round.

If this is indeed your issue, I wrote this plugin to fix it: https://forums.alliedmods.net/showthread.php?t=198350
