I figured there would already be a plugin to do this, but I didn't find one.

I'm looking for a plugin to limit the number of spectators on a server to a specific number.

Preferably one that:
1. is configurable as to who has immunity (by flag; I have a lot of reserved slot people, but I want them kicked too if there are too many spectators)
2. has a configurable amount of time after they join the server to choose a team.

In case anyone is wondering, this request is because of Valve's "intelligent" decision to make TF2's item system give items to people based on how long they're in-game... including games they are spectating, not playing. However, I don't believe this kind of plugin would be game specific.

This limits the number of spectators to the amount you define at the top.
You can also define how long they stay in spec, and the penalty before they can spec again. It gives players with reserved flags more access, as they can join spec even if it's full, by kicking a player without a reserved flag.

Admins can kick anyone from spec, by using sm_kickspec <name>

Couldn't you just use an afk manager that kicks them after a X ammount of time not playing?

i have an afk manager but the 'spec limit' is about setting the number of times a player can go to spec, during an entire game.
