I think he might be asking about your icons being in "list style" on your destop. I would be curious as to how also.

There's an awful program that can switch the icons to "list" style or even "details" style. I don't remember the name, but I found it through lifehacker.

When I used it, the list ran off the screen, rearranged items' locations were not saved, things were placed randomly rather than in alphabetical order, ugh. It's just a huge pain to use. I guess it might work if you have less than twenty icons.

It's a shame, because I would have liked to have some more room on my desktop.
