CSGO Server crash on startup "Missing Shutdown fuction"

Hey guys,

Since the recent patches etc, my first server was having problems starting up. I run it via Steamcmdgui and I would get the following error
"Missing shutdown function for Sys_InitAuthentication() : Sys_ShutdownAuthentication()"
Then the server would become unresponsive.

I tried making a fresh server, no plugins, cmds etc. It started up fine no issues. Added sourcemod and went to start the server with out any other plugins like bhop etc. It crashed with the same error.

If anyone could help me, that would be awesome.

you added sourcemod... what version... the latest snapshot. ?

Sourcemod 1.5.3 was the version I installed. Installing sourcemod was the only thing that changed, no extra maps, no custom commands or changes in cfg's etc.

Install 1.5.4-hg4036.

This is part of CSGO's retarded server logic
SourceMod doesn't matter at all
CSGO doesn't like SourceMod or server editing
It ALWAYS occur without any reason.
For me, changing to a map called zm_parish_b2 will result 50% chanace of that problem.
I highly recommend you to change the first launching map in the command line.
There is no way to kill it permanently
Hidden Path had done a REALLY good job on srcds

Use windows default zip program.

And check anti-virus program not automatically destroy it.

hello guys i have the same problem! my server worked perfectly! when yesterday i updated him and now i get this error "Missing shutdown function for Sys_InitAuthentication() : Sys_ShutdownAuthentication()" i have Metamod 1.10.1-hg886 and Sourcemod 1.5.4-hg4036, i open CSGo and my server apear in LAN but when i go to connect he comes again to Steam Panel! Any Way to fix this? thanks!
