Hi Guys,

I've been trying recently to spawn throught sourcemod 'path_track' yet it does not seems to work unfortunely. MvM Tank n' other entities does not seem to accept work with sourcemod-spawned path track.

I've tried many ways to do this yet none seems to work
If i've tried to redirect from built in map path_track train to sm-spawned path_track it gave me console debug msg: dead end link valve.

Any help or revelation could be great

I've never tried it, but...
  • You did remember to give the path_track a targetname keyvalue?
  • You did remember to set the Next Stop Target? As far as I can tell, that's the m_pnext datamap, but its unclear what kind of value it should take... in Hammer, the next path is set using targetnames.
  • You probably also need to set the m_pprevious datamap. This kind of thing is normally handled for you in Hammer.

Works fine for me, just set all of the keyvalues like you would in hammer.
Also, if you kill the track, and any entity is pathing it, the server will crash.

Yeah,

You can easily achieve that by mixing system of [TF2] Mann vs Tank! with customly spawned 'path_tracks' perhaps?

I thinked about mann hattan because the tank was a scraped idea and only left two traces the door and boss_deploy_relay

That was the main reason people even used path_tracks, was for the tank.
