I suggest everyone to watch it. Most of the stuff he talks about was something I know about, but the images around the globe proving global warming was quite something.

In the end of the document there is a suggestion to talk about these things and act in your community. Well, this is one of the communities I am a part of, and I'll make a couple suggestions to all of you:

-Turn off the computer when you're not using it, you won't miss anything, you're not there
-Calculate how much power your computer uses, and you might foind out, that your computer would work with a smaller power-source. Also investing to a bit more expensive power source can help, 'cause the better quality ones have less power-loss
-Walk and ride a bicycle to school / work. You'll need the excercise anyway, you lazy bastard

You know that movie was complete crap. I was looking for documentation on global warming, not his life story.

If you didn't get the idea, the parts about his life were there to tell you why he started to rant about global warming anyway.

See, people usually start caring about something, when it comes close. For example, someone doesn't give a shit about seatbelts, and then his friends die in a car crash, because they didn't use a seatbelt. That's when a person starts using a seatbelt for sure.

If you followed the documentary, he told what had an effect on him, and how. And the main point in this is, that you can actually start wearing that seatbelt, even though it doesn't affect you at all. Got me?

Haven't seen it, but judging by his changes from the past 8 years, I think eating a lot of twinkies helps prevent global warming.

Eating a lot of twinkies -> weight gain -> obesity -> too fat and lazy to do anything that would increase the effects global warming.

Incorrect. Eating a lot of twinkies -> survive nuclear attacks -> nuclear winter canceling out global warming.

I despise Al Gore.

I havn't seen the film yet, and I don't think I ever will.

I think he just uses Global warming as just an excuse to hear himself talk.

I thought the film was informative. Learned things from it such as the salt/warm/cold flow in the atlantic and many other things.

Al Gore may be a wussy-man but he's still cool and the movie was very good . Besides, SOMEONE has to be pushing the fact of global warming into people's faces.

The fact is we should all care alot more about our environment!
We should realize that our nature is a sensitive system which is near the collapse.

But i heard the global warming is a hoax.
The worlds temperature is not warmer than a few centuries ago...there was always a fluctuation in the temperature scales...see glacial periods and warm stages.

What do you think about that?
