ok this is most likely weird but anyway...

what i try to figure out is how to send a command to the counter-strike 1.6 linux dedicated server from the same or remote linux box shell command prompt.
I use screens for each server on the machine.

for example i have another linux box that hosts irc bots. is it possible to have that system trigger an announcement (eg. amx_csay mpla mpla) to the other linux box that hosts the game server with amxmodx?

this is already done with the irc plugin, where the game server echoes anything that is written on an irc channel. I could use irc as the means to get the announcement on the server, but I am pretty sure that it can be done in a better way.

so how about an echo server as an amx plugin, that listens for connections from specified ips?
