That's the same as the "only +Karma" idea which was proposed already and denied.

I payed attention to the karma system.. But I think only topic creators should be aloud to give bad karma to people who reply in their thread and good karma should be available to everyone.

Thanks system = There is no point to this, but a waste of space and spam.

Let it die. There's no way karma or anything like it is coming back.

There are places to be serious here, and places to be silly. Karma is essentially a forum game no matter how you look at it, and it doesn't really fit into the silliness or the seriousness. If you want to play games, there's an app called Steam that has a few. Or there's OT to fool around in.

If you appreciate someone's help, let 'em know. If you like a plugin, rate up the thread. If you think a post should be removed, report it.

Another way of looking at it: sure, we could pimp out the forums like SA or turn it into Facebook or reddit or something. But that's not really why it's here. You probably have better things to do, and other people can definitely do that stuff better than us.

Didn't read the thread, but if you mean a small button where you can write a little message to the poster, and basically give "grey" karma with no effect, just text, it would be a good idea.
