I'm not hunting down Non-Steam users.
However, I do tell them Non-Steam is not supported here when they ask for something specific to Non-Steam.

I am not against all Non-Steam users.
I am against users who make my job difficult as a Moderator.

Those users are who I seek out to trash/lock topics, and delete posts.

Another behaviour pattern that some users have and that I love as much as it pisses me off is when a user ask for a plugin to do something that can't be done or wasn't done yet and one, instead of responding "it isn't possible" or "probably it is not possible", says: "why the hell you want to make that?".

It pisses me of so much that I'm sweating. Is like they are trying to put the fault of not being able to do something over the poor guy that is asking.

And today's huge mods probably had the same reaction when its authors started the development.
And there's no such thing as "not possible", but "not possible at this level". Orpheu made many "impossible" things possible, who knows if there's still a huge step in our HLDS hooking capabilities?

By the way, another behaviour pattern:

When a moderator sees a tool that he doesn't believe in and after knowing it works keeps trying to put it down by saying facts about it trying to make it look immoral or speculations about it not being so good as it looks without presenting proofs or by showing that it doesn't fit in this way of working as if everybody else has to have the same and even being that many stated that already used it and liked it.

I dunno if that's at least indirectly a stab at me or not, but my only beef with Orpheu was the lack of Windows support, which has long since been remedied.

Lol, no and I feel bad to have lead you to think that since it wasn't at all directed to you. In fact, I prefer to talk about stuff that is not related directly with me and let others talk about stuff related with me.
