lol I seriously would never had expected that.. Thats awesome tho, and this mod is seriously the best one ive come across with minor fixes here and their. Ive had it running on my multi mod forever, and its the most played by far.

But I am glad that got handled, and it would be nice if anybody would be wiling for updates. I can only do support now sadfully, but the mod itself is awesome, and extremely expandable.

i use this mod since 2 years ago but i have problems with it's stability.
it restarts the server with some errors i don't even remember since i put a program to automatically click on the ok errors and it restarts like 40 times in 2 days.
i am sure it is this mod with the restart problems and while reading some pages from the forum here i saw some of them asked here and not really answered.
now i believe that they are related to MSG_ONE and other messages being sent to entities that maybe got kicked due to high ping or something. or they just were connecting or retrying and got counted as players and when was time for them for the messages to be sent they already disconnected.
i think it could be made more stable if i have some time maybe next week or sometime and if i understand it's programming (i am not sure if i will) and search for proper places to put if(is_user_connected(id)) conditions so that messages get lost more rarely.
what do you say rul4? could it be possible to fix it?

Your theory is pretty simple, you can try it by just searching in the four source files and adding the "is_user_connected" before each msg without the need of understanding what they do.

Ask me if you need to understand some part of the code. Even better, post it here and I will explain it (if I remember it... its been a while).

If your fix works, bmann or myself could upload it to the main post.

thx very much i just finished reading all the 40 pages to copy the errors encountered and i will also try to locally compile the plugin first to test if it fixes (even if some said id didn't work)
i am using amxx1.8.1.3746 and possibly will try sometime with the beta's, they might have some fixes even if i don't hold my breath.
i also tried adding -num_eddicts 4096 -zone 8192 -heapsize 262144 to the command line (and the num_edicts to the liblist.gam also) but they did not really helped lately.

EDIT: with this in mind http://forums.alliedmods.net/showthread.php?p=910026 i would suggest you add a new cvar and a new line in config file that would turn on and off the game name changer. It would be easier for some users.
i have done it for you but i strongly suggest you verify my done.

hey I have a Question

i insatll the plugin on my server
all works just this not

with glock and mp5 i can shot paintballpellets
all the other wapeons shot "normal"

how i can make that the other guns shoot paintballs too?

It looks fine to me. Do some more fixes, test them and we can post it in the first thread (also updating the plugin's version number...).

BTW, there are some fixes in this forum after I left. Has anyone uploaded them to the first post? bmann?

can you provide a "meta list" "amx_modules" and "amx_plugins" list?

Rul4, this one works. i tested first of course with pb_gamenamechanger 1 that is the way config file is saved, and after that i tested with 0 and it stopped changing the game name. Also i would make a hazardous presumption to say that it might be the reason why the server only restarted 2 times in the last 24 hours, but we shall see. I also compiled the sma's locally so i will test next few days with pb_gamenamechanger 1 to see which of them has improved the stability.

I can uplad that version with that confirmation. Also the version I had was a small addition for an ent check for that error that came up and filled the logs, their is also many posts about it. But I would have to dig it up and mix these 2 together, wich wouldn't be a problem. =) just gatta wait till I get back from vegas next week ;) if your bored rule, feel free to go at it, its a common error and just needs a check statement before the ent on that line. I'm on the phone, otherwise id give yea more info on that statement. Lol

amxx plugins in console, gives a better description, and also an error report at the bottom of the list with what is not working, and a possible description why. And also, please put debug at the end of the plugins name.
