bartycs, try to verify the "created" date of the file you copy/pasted from "compiled" folder, as i said, it is tricky, one should warn users that they should instead cut/paste not copy/paste amxx files because next compilation will not take place if file already exists compiled and sometimes it gives no warnings. verify the paintballgun.amxx in plugins folder -<properties->"created" date and post back.

Loniu, the plugin might be adapted much like the "zombie plaque" with new sub-plugins and new models if you wish so, but no-one has done it yet so i do not know if any new gun models are available for download. if you want we could help you scripting a plugin modification, while you get on with finding the skins you like.

Can you please debug the plugin then post the results?

paintballgun.amxx debug (in your plugins.ini)

what am i doing wrong... installed everything in the designated folders.. set the cvars, and added plugins.ini and modules.ini info... and the server just will not start up...

Disable the plugins, start the server. Use hlsw to get the logs, then enable the plugins and change the map, then read the error in the console.

The thing is... i cannot get the server online... unless i delete all the .amxx files off the server and take them off the plugins.ini file...

... is this plugin confirmed working as of late?

hello thereLoniu,
for replace the weapons model, after studying the paintballgun.sma i could ask if you want and if it is possible to move their model\s complete addresses that are contained between the "" inside the rpainball.cfg for easy change.
i have to say i have never studied before this operation and now that i look into it it would seem to be very dificult.
i want to ask bman420 if he thinks this could be done, if he would like to help, and if not, i would then like to ask Rul4.

i do not understand completely how the models are done and wich is for what since i did not do modeling, even tho i could view the models in a viewer and draw my own conclusion.

The models are hard coded, so you would have to go thru the sma and change each line accordingly. (point the models you want changed to the new model in all areas (functions <- all of em, and precache)

You do not need to delete the .amxx files, that has nothing to do with your server if their not currently running... Simply disable them, start the server like new without them enabled (if a hard restart is required then do so via cpanel). Then enable them while the server is running and get the log, and change the map. Im'm 90% sure that you placed the models in the wrong areas, or are not placing them at all. This mod currently works just fine.

On a side note, niculaie, did you get a PM from Taco?

I saw the models adresses are hard coded, but the question is if can they be replaced with variables stored in rpaintball config file. in this way you only modify sma once, and after that user should be able to change models as he wants from config file.
I did receive PM from Loniu and THC. any one of them is who are you asking about?
About adding more weapons or more models (i understand you ask about not changing the current ones but adding more), well that would be even more scripting work, and i think we should take one step at a time.
