I've been trying to look around at some plugins for increasing the starting ammo load out for the M60 Machine Gun. So far most ammo plugins do not work. Gun Control's plugin only affects the ammo when it is refilled at a ammo cache, but that's just exploiting what should be a 'temporary' weapon.

More or less the the 150 rounds for the M60 is actually the magazine clip which is why increasing it's ammo for it will make it show up on the side as reserve ammo.

So is there any plugin that can edit L4D2 weapon's magazine capacity ?

It's only possible by using an extension and intercepting the game's loading of the scripted weapon values. (Damage, Bullet spread, Piercing .. really cool stuff)

However there's multiple issues with the attempt, like not being able to tell which weapon is being configured at a time, interception of the call causing crashes...

In short its not possible as of now.
