I think he meant giving it a custom paint, if the hat is unpainted, give it pink as hell without using paint can.

Also, is there a way of keeping the paint on an already painted hat?

You'll need to use the preserve attributes functionality, more fine-grained control isn't currently available.

help, im trying to mod the shortstop to be a little...... BETTER but its not working

here's my config

You're trying to modify attribute 6 twice...

VSH does not support TF2Items Manager yet. 1.39, the next update, does. I'll be putting that up sometime, then working on FF2, then blaaaaaah too much to do.

ACTUALLY it DID work, however, i had to wait overnight (probably waiting to restart server) for the tf2items.txt cfg to actually take effect, cuz of this, i accidentally made a test weapon overpowered.
