Has anyone got add-live bans working?

btw Lantz did u see my post about amxbans web admins
and restricting their view to other servers and rcons.

hate for webadmins to view other servers on the list and see the rcon pass.

My live ban works perfect. Please read the FAQ and see if that helps.

There is a section about getting live bans to work.

About your other admins can view the rcon that is maybe b/c you have given them to much access.
You can create different levels for different webadmins. Just create a level 2 webadmin with add, edit, delete and unban privileges then they wont be able to see the rcon password.
Admin level 1 gives access to everything in the amxbans web interface and should only be given to people you trust.

But then I dont understand what you mean how they can see the rcon password if you have created a special level.
Do you mean that they can access the page directly?

I get this message if i dont have access to a certain page.

You do not have the required credentials to view this page.

If you can show how to reproduce the bug then please post it here (If you like)

I had the same problem. Try using a secure link i.e.

https://www.youdomain.com/amxbans

This worked for me but I have SSL enabled on my webserver, you might not.

the plugins list lets see that it works

also i installed evrything on the website

the site and the server ore on a difred ip and the server wont connect to the database ( phpmyadmin ) dont now ore that is a problem


i dont now or my msql settings are right ( from amxx )
but i stuck now it wont work plz help me

Oke last time my problem was solved so here comes the next one

We are also running webmod to display some stats from the server.
Both machines are running behind a router so no real external IP.

If I put the "ip" cvar in the server.cfg it makes amxbans work perfectly but it makes webmod crash because it can't bind to that IP.

I tryed changing the "ip" cvar in the source of amxbans to "ip_amxbans" put this in my server.cfg and this resulted in the webpage only displaying the portnumber and not the IP.

Anyone got any idea's on how to get these to work right?

In the source you could after this

get_cvar_string("ip", ip, 32)

put

ip = "ipnumber"

of cource change the text ipnumber to real IP and there are many places where it should be added.

I don't think it's a good solution to hardcode the ip like that, but if it helps you in the meantime that is good.
I can't think of any other right now.
Also strange that webmod don't handle when you change ip, but I haven't used webmod so...
Maybe you should ask the folks handling webmod before you do any changes.

but how do you find the ip of the phpmyamin server
is it just my website ip
