Hi,

First off all I'd like to say that I'm a begginer with configirating servers, especially CSGO servers. I set my own DM server based on your 1.5 DM mode. Actually it is an FFA DM mode. Unfortunatelly I have some problems with it. I dont know where and how set some settings. I was searching a lot but I didnt find anything helping me.

What I want to do:

1. What shout I do to set each map for timelimit only. Not rounds which usually last 3 minutes. But only 1 round per 20 min. I need particullar commands and information where should I set them (in which file).

2. What starting settings sould I have? Those are my current settings:

cds_run -console -autorestart -game csgo -usercon +game_type 0 +game_mode 0 +mapgroup mg_bomb -nohltv -tickrate 128 -maxplayers 20 -maxplayers_override 20 +ip xx.xxx.xx.xxx -port xxxxx -exec server.cfg +map de_dust2 -autoupdate -steam_dir ~/steamcmd/ -steamcmd_script ~/steamcmd/207022.txt

Hi M@ME,

There really isn't an easy way to do this because team balance only happens on round starts. Therefore, you might want to look on here and the plugins to see if you can find a plugin that will do it every so often for deathmatch servers (I did a quick search and could not find any for you).

I would simply use the limitteams variable to prevent too many players from joining one team over another. However, there will not be a way to prevent users from leaving one team and it being out of balance until new players join or the round ends.

I think you made the best choice of 20 minute rounds, which will at least keep things balanced every 20 minutes.

you can add cvars to your server.cfg

thats where you can set mp_timelimit
