Okay so I got my server, its 32 slots. But as we all know, hl2dm limits to 16 slots for the sake of valvetrolling (not really).

Currently I am running on a Linux Server.

I am using the plr.so from the sourceop site.
And upon the plugin loading via plugin_load command I get this.

failed to dlopen /root/Steam/SteamApps/common/Half-Life 2 Deathmatch Dedicated Server/bin/plr.so error=/root/Steam/SteamApps/common/Half-Life 2 Deathmatch Dedicated Server/bin/plr.so: undefined symbol: g_pMemAlloc

So, whatdo? Where can I find a working player limit plugin

the limit is there for a reason.. have u seen a server with 16 players in it? not a pretty sight! this game drains more resources cus of all the physics calculations no other game has

The plugin needs to be recompiled against the latest hl2sdk-obvalve, MetaMod: Source, and SourceMod (1.5 by preference). Which is impossible to do without the actual source code.

This change was made way back in October 2012.

tF said he just used the orangebox version of player limit remover on hl2dm and it worked just fine

i dont have it myself, but its the one on sourceop.com i believe, just the orangebox version
