This plugin requires Sourcemod 1.5 or higher


Description

This plugin will allow an injured Special Infected to feed off of the common infected. By attacking them, you feed on their life energy to heal yourself. You can also reduce the damage common infected take during the feeding.


Cvars

• l4d_vim_vampiriccommon: Enables the ability for Special Infected to attack common infected to regain health.
• l4d_vim_vampiriccommonamount: Amount of HP the Special Infected will receive each time it attacks a common infected. (Def 5)
• l4d_vim_vampiriccommoncooldown: Cooldown period between vampiric hits. (Def 0.5)
• l4d_vim_vampiriccommonreduction: Percent to reduce damage done to common infected while feeding. (Def 0.3) (Note: Lowering this amount prevents insta-killing common as a SI)

<*>To change these values edit the plugin.L4D2.VampiricInfected.cfg in the CFG/Sourcemod folder.


Installation

• Download and copy L4D2 Vampiric Infected.smx to Addons/Sourcemod/Plugins
• Delete plugin.L4D2.VampiricInfected.cfg from the CFG/Sourcemod folder.

I'm unclear as to which game mode this is for as you mention in the description "By attacking them, you feed on their life energy to heal yourself" which suggest's its for versus mode. Is this the case or will it work in coop mode

This will work in any gamemode, it's just that you can only do this as a player in a Versus match where you play as the infected.
