I.m having a problem getting 2 plugins to display the lightning effect. I have the Dangerous Weapons and the Lighting Witch Attack plugins on my L4D1 and L4D2 dedicated servers. Both of these plugins use the lightning effect particles. Both plugins work ok and I get the lightning effect on the L4D2 server with no problems. However, the L4D1 server only shows a Orange Death Beam instead of the lightning effect. Can someone tell me how to get the lightning effect to work on a L4D1 server. Is the lightning effect avalible on L4D1????

What is the exact name of this particle effect? There is a list of particles that work for each game, look it up to see if the one you use is listed.

Nevermind, I see which particles are being used. I do not think L4D1 has "electrical_arc_01_system" particles because L4D2 has this in a electrical fx library. L4D1 does not have effect libraries because it does not use that many effects / particles.

It may be possible to find a particle that is based off of all source games and substitute it? However, I am not too sure if there is a list of particles that all Source games have in common or if it can work at all (only a theory).
